Etude’s Fan Fiction captures the drama of the new Play Color Eyes Mini Objet Palette

KUALA LUMPUR, 31 May 2021 - Etude Malaysia unveils latest eye palette, Play Color Eyes Mini Objet with a dramatic fanfiction titled ‘Mini Objet, The Series’. The 12-part written mini-drama follows the journey of the main character, Emma as she chases her dream to become a singer while navigating the realities of early adulthood, love and friendships.

Continuing across twelve chapters, the Etude community can follow the story of Emma as it is unveiled day by day, a novella that aims to excite and captivate the imagination of Etude’s key audience.

“We’re looking to tell the story of Etude Mini Objet in a different way by inviting our audience into a world where Etude Mini Objet is personified,” says Tin Yen, Senior Marketing Manager for Etude Malaysia. “The romanticism of a good story told in a fanfiction style may inspire our fans to create stories of their own.”

The attributes of each Mini Objet palette is personified by the characters in the short novel. The series revolves around three main characters Emma and twin sisters, Kim and Mel. In the beginning, Emma represents the soft and demure features of Play Color Eyes Mini Objet #3 French Rose Teapot and slowly transforms into Play Color Eyes Mini Objet #4 Crystal Chandelier as she finds confidence in herself and her abilities.

Her best friend, Kim is reflected by Play Color Eyes Mini Objet #2 Peach Shell Tray, a supportive and reliable friend, while Kim’s antagonistic twin sister, Mel represents #1 Antique Candlestick, a dark and sensual seductress that poses a threat to Emma and her dreams of stardom.

Each character in the story are inspired by Etude’s Play Color Eyes Mini Objet, a mini eyeshadow quad with 4 color combinations;

#1 Antique Candlestick, a mix of neutral matte and shimmer shades #2 Peach Shell Tray, a mix of coral matte and shimmer shades
#3 French Rose Teapot, a mix of pink matte and shimmer shades
#4 Crystal Chandeliers, a mix of pink, neutral and coral glitter shades

The light-weight, unique size and shade versatility makes this palette the perfect daily bag item. Each palette is priced at RM98 and can be found at all Etude stores and selected Watsons counters and online platforms including Shopee, Lazada.

The first chapter of ‘Mini Objet, The Series’ premiers on 26 May 2021 and will be available on Etude Malaysia’s official social platforms, @etudemalaysia on Instagram and Facebook.
